No olive tree is damaged or destroyed in the harvesting of wood which assures that the trees remain healthy and the groves sustainable

Annually apply a little vegetable oil or mineral oil to maintain and preserve the appearance of the wood

For over 300 years, the Bannoura Family of Bethelem have been producing high quality olivewood products. They have handcarved religious items, table top items and now, household items. Using the beautiful hardwood grain of the olivewood, each item is unique in the patterns. Each spoon, spatula and tray will give years of use if properly maintained. No two items are the same. Since the Bannoura family are artisans, they are also aware that these trees must be maintained for future generations.
